Can I do it?

Absolutely! Each running day offers two route options — a shorter (around 12 km) and a longer (up to 25 km) trail. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a passionate recreational runner, we adapt the pace and distance to your comfort level. You’ll be supported and guided every step of the way.

Do I need to be an elite runner?

Not at all. You don’t need to be elite — just active, healthy, and ready for adventure. The goal is to experience Iceland’s beauty, not to break records. You’ll have time to enjoy the trails, the scenery, and the recovery sessions.

How big are the groups?

Each tour is limited to 10 participants max — small, personal, and high-quality. You’ll quickly form a close-knit team that shares the journey.

Do I need to bring special gear?

You’ll receive a full packing and gear list upon booking, including recommended trail shoes, lightweight clothing, hydration packs, and weatherproof layers. Iceland’s conditions can change quickly — we prepare for everything!

What’s the weather like in summer?

Summer in Iceland means long daylight hours and mild temperatures (8–18°C). Weather can shift from sunshine to light rain within minutes, which is part of the adventure.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety always comes first. If a specific trail becomes unsafe (for example, due to snow or wind), we’ll adjust the itinerary and run an equally scenic alternative route, such as switching between Kerlingafjöll and Mýrdalshlaupið.

Can I come alone?

Definitely. Many of our guests join solo — especially on the Singles Tour. You’ll meet like-minded adventurers, and by the end of the trip, you’ll feel like part of a trail family.

What if I come with my partner?

Then the Couples Tour is perfect for you. It’s designed to strengthen connection through shared adventure — running together, exploring, and relaxing at the Sky Lagoon.

Is there time to rest and sightsee?

Yes. Every other day includes a lighter schedule, sightseeing (like the Golden Circle and South Coast), and recovery time. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds — adventure and relaxation.
